Big Surf

Big Surf was a waterpark in Tempe, Arizona, that opened in 1969 and featured the first wave pool in the United States, designed by Phil Dexter and later recognized as an ASME Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark for pioneering inland surfing recreation.
