Brandywine Springs
Brandywine Springs was an amusement park near Newport, Delaware, that operated in the early 20th century along the Hyde Run tributary, before closing after the 1923 season. The site had earlier functioned as a resort hotel and mineral springs destination, and is historically significant for hosting a Revolutionary War encampment under General George Washington.
