Elitch Gardens is an amusement park in downtown Denver, Colorado, that originated as a family-owned seasonal destination in the West Highland neighborhood, operating as a combination amusement park, theater, and botanical garden for over a century before relocating in 1994. The park became known throughout the region for its ornamental gardens, the historic Elitch Theatre, and the wooden roller coaster Mister Twister, and operated under the Six Flags brand from 1998 until reverting to its original name.
