Nunley's Happyland
Nunley's Happyland was a family amusement park that operated from 1951 to the late 1970s in Bethpage, Long Island, New York, notable for being one of the earliest parks designed for year-round operation with a heated indoor pavilion featuring salvaged glass panels from the 1939-40 World's Fair. The park catered to the growing postwar suburban population and featured a carousel alongside other rides, becoming colloquially known as "Jolly Roger's" after the adjacent fast-food restaurant of the same name.
