Shellpot Park
Shellpot Park was a trolley park in Brandywine Hundred, Delaware, that operated from 1893 to 1934 and was developed by the Wilmington City Railway Company to serve visitors traveling by trolley lines. At its peak in the 1920s, the park featured a Philadelphia Toboggan Company carousel with forty-eight horses and two chariots, along with a 65-foot-tall PTC roller coaster, though declining interest led to its closure following a railway fire in 1934.
